Kirby Smart's Pay Day
One could assume that Kirby Smart’s yearly review “exceeds expectations” in every category after Georgia makes him the highest-paid coach in college football. The resume speaks for itself with a record of 96-14, two SEC Championships, and two consecutive National Championships you can see how a pay raise was expected. Georgia finished this past season with a 13-1 record and a 63-3 Orange Bowl win over Flordia State. The Orange Bowl victory is the largest margin of victory in bowl game history and Georgia’s win breaks their record of 65-7 score against TCU in the 2023 national championship. The previous record was held by Alabama who beat Syracuse 61-6 in the 1953 Orange Bowl.
